Fire, Hire & Inspire - Performance Coaching

Course Outline: 2 Days 

Stepping into a managers role can be a difficult step to take.  Too many managers are promoted into a role for which they are ill equipped, other than their experience of doing the job their new team is now to do. 

Once you know how to FIRE an individual by avoiding such challenges as Industrial Tribunals, the experienced or well briefed manager never goes any where near FIRE. Instead their HIRING skills become much more acute and keep their staff by becoming the INSPIRING  manager.  This two day course really focuses on performance coaching and uses various learning experiences including role play, group discussion and input. 

Course Objectives:

On completion of  this course delegates will have demonstrated the the use of:

  • discipline and the Process of Firing someone
  • how to handle staff Grievances 
  • hiring new or agency staff 
  • the use of the GROW model 
  • inspiring people beyond their vulnerabilities 
  • effective deployment of Key Word Questioning to stay focused on their ‘client’
  • using Evidential Feedback
